Workshop (informal or formal): "Defining Moments"
A workshop for youth in your community
Duration: 30 minutes
1. Show youth how to regulate and leverage their thoughts, feelings and emotions more effectively.
2. Teach youth the importance of maintaining a positive mindset and self awareness in the midst of a “defining moment.”
3. How to simultaneously observe and leverage our feelings and emotions using the insight gained from our “Defining Moments”, done so by applying a Step-by-step mindset process to achieve our highest potential even under mental pressure.
Below are many life changing lessons, tools and mindset youth leave the workshop with:
Lesson: [1] Focus less on how you feel, and more on the solution to change how you’re feeling, hence a goal achieved by obtaining the wisdom arising from the pain, feeling or emotion.
Lesson: [2] There’s nothing in this lifetime that you cannot achieve without a positive self image and mindset.
Lesson[3]: “Defining Moments” are rewards in disguise, so be thankful for them. (Be thankful you must go through to get to where you need to go.
Lesson[4]: Can’t nobody stop you but you, because:
1. It’s our thoughts, feelings, and emotions that determine what we say and do; and
2. Our future is inside of us in the form of a positive or negative thought.
3. In order to attract that which you desire, you must first mentally embody that your future is inside of you in the form of a positive or negative thought.
Lesson[5]: A lack of endurance is why most give up. Endurance is increased by enduring your “Defining Moment.”

Workshop: How Does a Bully Feel?
A workshop for youth in your community.
Duration: 30 minutes
This workshop is a question-based, highly interactive workshop that holds youth accountable for rethinking the way their perceive, treat, and feel about themselves—both in public and in private.
Youth will explore the perspectives of both a bystander and a bully to better understand how their thoughts, words, and actions affect those around them. This workshop will also urge youth to consider the most prevalent form of bullying: the self-criticism and self-hatred that occurs inside our minds on a daily basis.
BMC MVMNT founder Brian McComb believes that a "bully mindset" can be eradicated simply by inspiring youth to consider multiple perspectives and reminding them of their self-worth and value. Through thorough discussion and group activities, youth will discover methods of rewiring their thinking to treat others and themselves with more respect.
